Some Internet
Posted by Koala Mentala at 3:23 pmWhy does this girl seem so content while inspecting the shadow of her bullet-ridden body? Doesn't she realize she must be very close to death? (Little Dot's uncle is famous Batman villain Mr. Polka-Dot.)
YouTube: Check out the music video for Weezer's song "Pork and Beans", featuring all your favorite YouTube stars and memes. Barenaked Ladies did pretty much the same thing in 2006 with their video for "Sound of Your Voice".
Jack Chick's "Lisa": Did you know child abuse can be forgiven within minutes? Thank God for Jesus.
Another comic: How to behave during a job interview. I've tried it and it works pretty good.
The Doomsday argument: Humanity is halfway gone, says Science. So there's no reason to brush your teeth anymore.
There should be more links here but I misplaced the rest.

Drunken David Hasselhoff Lying on the Floor, Trying to Eat a Hamburger
Posted by Koala Mentala at 11:08 amThe former Baywatch and Knight Rider mega-actor stars in this six-minute home video from 2007, filmed by his daughter Taylor Ann.
Alcoholism: Both hilarious and heartbreaking!
YouTube commenter "jacksy1980" has this take on it:
Whats so shocking, when i come home drunk i struggle to eat my takeaway. Infact I dont eat it i fall asleep in it,thats why the Hoff is so cool,he can get drunk, take a ride in his car and eat his burgers...legend!

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (1984)
Galaxy Quest (1999)
The Departed (2006) (R)
Gilda (1946)
300 (2007) (R)
Femme Fatale (2002)
Scrubs: Season 4 (2004-2005, 25 episodes)
Kirikou et les bêtes sauvages / Kirikou and the Wild Beasts (2005)
No Country for Old Men (2007)
The Bourne Identity (2002)
The Bourne Supremacy (2004)
The Bourne Ultimatum (2007)
Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut (2001/2004)
Deathtrap (1982) (R)
Sleuth (2007)
Watership Down (1978)
Best: The American version of The Office slowly emerged as something different from the original, but nearly as good. Unsurprisingly, I liked There Will Be Blood and No Country for Old Men quite a bit. The Departed is still excellent. And I feel like mentioning The Bourne Ultimatum, simply because it was the most solidly entertaining action film I've seen in years. But I won't.
Worst: Brian De Palma's embarrassingly awful Femme Fatale and the Harold Pinter-written remake of Sleuth. Technically, I guess they were both better movies than Hercules in New York, but I found the latter far less annoying.
R = repeat

Let The Right One In

SwedisH vampire movie! Listen to the random You Tube watcher:
It's an amazing book and since the author wrote the screenplay, you can expect good things. Also, this really isn't your run-of-the-mill vampire flick. This is a very dark and disturbing drama. I suggest picking up a copy of the book. You won't be able to put it down! :)

"Did You Accept Jesus Christ As Your Own Personal Savior?"
Posted by Koala Mentala at 7:39 pmBecause if you haven't, you're definitely fucked. You didn't think it was enough to just follow the Ten Commandments and believe in the Golden Rule, did you? The above is Rodney & Syd's movie adaptation of the Jack Chick's "Somebody Goofed". Here's the original Chick Tract (also available in a slightly less animated YouTube version) and you should maybe also check out "Oops!", a remake aimed at a blacker audience than the original. (Comics critic Jog reviews and compares the two tracts.)
