Obama vs Osama!
Check it, Beautiful Barack is doing what Dubya never could! Punching out Osama bin Laden on a comic book cover, that is. It's a homage to the classic Jack Kirby cover with Captain America punching Hitler.
Cartoonist Erik Larsen has a history of riding the Obama wave. I think this is like his third or fourth Obama cover.

Election Watch! Since Sweden, the homebase of SUPERBLOG!!, is located several latitudes (or whatever the proper unit of measurement is) East of the American continent, it will be Wednesday here in just a few hours - and that means that we already have the results of the US election!
And it is with pride I inform you that we (yes, I consider myself an honorary United States citizen) have a new prez-elect! And his name is Osama bin Hussein Barackistan, Imam of all he surveys. Just kidding. It's Barack the Mighty! But the point is: Bow down before him! Bow down!

Typical: I proclaim this week Lazy Blogging Week on Monday, and follow that by posting more frequently than I have in many months. That's so fucking SUPERBLOG!!. (Is what I would say if it wasn't an extremely nerdy thing to say.) (And Lord knows I'm no nerd. I'm cooler than cool. My code name in the CIA would be Cold Fish. Secret Agent Cold Fish.) Everybody Loves Al
The good thing about Uncle Sammy quitting blogging (he hasn't made an official announcement or anything, but when was the last time he blogged? 2006?) is that now I'm free to turn SUPERBLOG!! into the Lovefest for Al it was always supposed to be.
Yes, Awesome Al Gore kind of looks like a big fat toad in the picture above. But a big fat wonderful toad. And remember, he would have been Big Fat President of the United States of Merrka right now if he hadn't fucked it all up.
Incidentally, who will win in November? Will it be Brilliant Barack Obama or Hillary "Flick the" Clinton? Or one of the Great Old Ones? I know who I'm voting for.
