I bet this movie will work in roadtrip of some kind ie. "Chipmunks the movie" "Beavis and Butthead do America" "Transformers the Movie" "Spongebob Squarepants the Movie" etc. etc.
Can you believe they made a movie?!
I stopped watching that show when I moved to England. It's not that they didn't show it on BBC2, because they did. Every Tuesday night. But I had better things to do. Like drink myself into a coma and masturbate.
Everybody who's not stupid knows that The Simpsons was excellent up to and including season 8 (circa 1997). Since then, it's been steadily in decline, and today it's just another sitcom, albeit with sporadic flashes of greatness. This movie is Homer's last chance to redeem himself. If he doesn't, we will have to put him to sleep.
