Ruled: Quite a lot of stuff, particularly Re-Animator (the first sequel is also pretty good), Irréversible, Insomnia (I like the Nolan remake but the original has more bite), Repulsion and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? There are plenty of other films on the above list that I'd recommend as well. And the fourth season of Weeds was the best one yet.
Sucked: The Brothers Solomon was pretty bad (and a complete waste of Kristen Wiig) but it amused me anyway. Alien Fury is exactly what it looks like - dumb low-budget TV sci-fi - so faulting it for sucking seems wrong. I thought Ultimate Avengers I and II might retain some of the characterizations that made the Ultimates comics kind of fun, but no, the movies were a waste of time. Saddest of all was the satiric War, Inc. (starring John Cusack) which had a lot of potential but only succeeded at sucking.
