Ingmar Bergman (1926-2007)

Ingmar Bergman, probably one of Sweden's top five movie directors of all time, was killed today by a huge explosion. Police suspect terror. Bergman was famous for making movies. With his great and nefarious talent, he touched many genres. In a 1994 interview with SUPERBLOG!!, Bergman said, "Today we kill, tomorrow we die." Ingmar teh Bergman (as he was known to his friends) spent the last couple of years of his life on his private island Fårö (NOT "Faro", as some media outlets have reported. Faro is a dirty word in Swedish). Bergman had just celebrated his 95th birthday (or something) when the explosion exploded, so he had a long and full life. But still.

In loving memory of Ingmar teh Bergman, here is SUPERBLOG!!'s Site of the Day: Famousr: Who Is More Famous? I'm currently on third place in the daily high scores. Can you beat me? No way.

(Hot tip: Just remember Haley Joel Osment is more famous than Robert Mitchum and Jeff Daniels is more famous than Errol Flynn and Ashley Scott is more famous than Claude Rains, and you'll be all right.)
