The Horrible Horrors are 20% Over

Today was a horrible, horrible day. Because Xmas is, like, over, and I had to go to work!! :-(((

Well, actually I didn't have to, I could've phoned in sick or simply said I didn't feel like going to work today, and my colleages would probably have understood. They know I have more important things on my mind than stupid work. I mean, it's not like people die if I don't show up. (Or is it?!?) But I felt I couldn't do it. Damn my work ethic! Damn it to Hell!

Apart from the general feeling of uneasiness and nausea that comes with "working" (by which I mean sitting behind a desk, surfing, and occasionally making an appointment I'll later cancel), the day proved uneventful. The most exciting part came during my lunch break. As I usually do, I went home during lunch and watched some DVD. I was just sitting there, totally minding my own business, when - suddenly! A knock on the door! WTF? Who could that be? (Seeing as how I have NO friends.)

I opened the door and gazed into the eyes of (the HORROR) two Jesus freaks! They tried to convert me with weird incantations and stuff but of course it didn't take. Because I hate Jesus and would never make him my savior. But I wished them luck and shut the door gently.

Here's the good part: this awful fucking work week is already 20 percent done! Hooray! Hooray for math!!

I had a brief talk with my boss today. Nothing particular, but we don't talk very often. Maybe I can start to like him, after all? Nah...

I'm not a big fan of bosses because I don't like being told what to do.

Look, if they didn't want me to play Tetris all day, why did they hire me?

At least it was two Jesus Freaks and not a Too Freaky Jesus. That would have been crazy.

I happen to be a Jehovah's Witness, and I think this would be the perfect opportunity for me to tell you guys about the good news!

We all have hoped for resurrection!
