Happiness Week, Part 3
Cats make me smile. I've never understood dogs but I really like cats. They're intelligent, lazy and vain. Just like me! Also, they're way too cool to be taught stupid tricks. If I didn't travel so much and/or if I had any friends in this evil town (poor me), I would totally get a cat.
When I was a kid I did have a cat. He was kind of disturbed so nobody liked him except me. He clawed most people who tried to touch him, but me and him got along fine. It seems like a dumb thing to say about a pet, but for several years he was kind of my best friend.
One day he was killed. I held him as he died.

Are you saying that because your best friend is a jar full of earwax?
No, but pets are so innocent and almost always happy to see you. They're the best friends one can have.
A jar of earwax is very innocent.
My cat wasn't happy to see you. He just wanted to be left alone. He was awesome.

I like cats too! We once had a cat named Hobson and he got into a fight with another cat and his eyeball got scratched and it was all bloody and full of puss and stuff and he wouldn't let anyone near him for weeks and it eventually dried up and fell out, the eyeball that is, and it was horrible. I felt so bad I cried. The cat lived for a long time after that tho so my story is completely irrelevent.
But I still care Koala.
Cats rule. Mine is sitting on my lap between me and the keys of my laptop. It's making seeing the screen and typing very difficult! I don't have the heart to move her though!
