That's my VOLVO and here's the bad news: The ultra effective Swedish Police stopped me today and after a while they said that the car had "körförbud" which in German is "fahrenverboten" and in English "driveforbidden". So, I have driven around in my nice VOLVO illegally since february (which is kind of cool to know).
Why the driveforbiddenness then? In Sweden our sort of DMV (the Swedish Motor Vehicle Inspection Company) likes to inspect our cars once every year and it seems like I never got the letter about it. The policemanfellow told me that it was my responsibility anyway and gave me a ticket. 1500 Swedish Crowns!!! dammit! That's $200. You can buy many burritos withthat kind of money.
Good news was that my driving license hadn't expired and no DUI today.
